The unique location in the immediate vicinity of Moszna Castle and the historic park, the surrounding greenery, and spacious stalls in the historic stables that are part of the palace and park complex are just some of the advantages of our boarding offer.
Standard Horse Boarding
Horses staying at the stud's boarding facility receive round-the-clock care, three daily feedings of oats in an amount agreed upon with the owner, and hay from our own meadows. Stalls are bedded with straw from our own production. Feeding with other owner-provided feeds is also possible.
Moszna Stud offers a well-developed equestrian infrastructure, available to horse owners, including:
- Two indoor riding arenas: one brick-built (40 x 18 m) and one tented (60 x 20 m)
- An open riding arena
- A full-size quartz-surfaced hippodrome with a set of training obstacles
- A cross-country course with obstacles
- An open lunging ring
- A horse walker
- A horse wash area
- A horse solarium
- Over 30 hectares of beautiful park and forest trails for horseback riding
Training & Boarding
We offer various types of boarding services, including:
- Breaking and training of young horses
- Competitive training for horses entrusted by their owners
- Horse and rider training under the guidance of qualified instructors
- Farrier services and veterinary care
- Horse transport to competitions
Pricing for these services is determined individually based on the owner's needs.
Horses are accepted into the boarding facility based on a contract signed between the owner and Moszna Stud. A clean bill of health and up-to-date vaccinations recorded in the horse's passport are required for acceptance.
Boarding for Retired Sport Horses & Young Horse Rearing
For young horses, as well as elderly or retired sport horses, we offer a boarding facility with daily turnout in the pastures of the Moszna Stud stable complex in Wawrzyńcowice. Horses are cared for by experienced professionals with years of equine management expertise.
The breeding boarding package includes:
- A 3×3 m stall bedded with straw
- 60 hectares of well-maintained and regularly fertilized pastures
- Three daily feedings of crushed oats in amounts agreed upon with the owner
- Hay from our own meadows
- Daily turnout on pasture
- Optional exercise in a mechanical horse walker
- Feeding with specialized feeds provided by the owner
Horses are accepted based on a contract signed between the owner and Moszna Stud. A clean bill of health and valid vaccinations recorded in the horse’s passport are required.
Breeding Boarding for Mares
Moszna Stud offers boarding for mares intended for breeding with stallions stationed at our facility, as well as pregnant mares with the option of foaling and foal rearing.
For foaling mares, we provide spacious 5×5 m stalls in the foaling stable, which is under 24-hour supervision. Professional assistance from qualified stud personnel is available for every birth.
Heavily pregnant mares in the boarding facility have separate paddocks and pastures from the breeding herd belonging to Moszna Stud.
